The first meaningful Hindi translation of the song Vande Mataram in poetic form.
As you all know that “Vande Mataram” is our national song and you must also have heard Vande Mataram. You will also know that the first six lines of this song composed by the late Shri Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay are in culture language “Sanskrit” and the remaining twelve lines are in Bangla.
Once upon a time there was talk of giving this song the status of “National Anthem” and it is heard that due to this song being in Sanskrit and Bangla language, there was speculation about the song getting national anthem status and eventually , “Jana Gana Mana” was declared our national anthem.
I would like to say that, For the first time someone has translated our “national song” in Hindi language and has opened the path to the attainment of being a “national anthem”.
The song has been meaningfully translated into pure Hindi language and is translated by Mr. Abhishek Sharma. While writing this song, he has composed this song keeping in mind the feelings of late Shri Bankim ji and has tried to incorporate Bankim ji’s sentiment in his translated song to a large extent. This song has four paragraphs and is 20 lines. While the song composed by the late Shri Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay Ji has four paragraphs and 18 lines.
A video of this song has also been released through Abhishek Sharma Ji’s YouTube channel. A humble request to all of you to listen to this song and give your feedback. Also, reach it to as many people as possible.
